
I wrote this weeks ago, the clouds were closing in and I was thinking about the myth of Phaethon. The son of Helios, he took his father’s chariot that pulled the sun across the sky. But he got too close to the sun.
Don’t you just love etymology. We have Phaethon the god, and Phaeton: : any of various light four-wheeled horse-drawn vehicles1
